Sufi Sensation Dr. Mamta Joshi’s upcoming concert tour in Canada
By Pashaura on Sep 30, 2010 in Discussion
Dr. Mamta Joshi’s Canada tour is just around the corner and I am excited to hear how she brings out the soul of my poem “Umber Di Shehzadi: To the Princess of the Skies” that I wrote over 40 years ago. Ever since she contacted me on FaceBook and as I read more and more about her and got the opportunity to speak with her, I have had a great feeling about how this will turn out. If you missed my previous blog, check it out here.
After much deliberation, I have decided to support Dr. Joshi by coming to her concert in Surrey. As much as I would love to be part of all the shows she will be performing at in Canada, I am not a young man anymore, and have a garden to attend to in addition to writing and singing more poetry! So my wife Inderbir Dhillon and I are planning to attend Dr Joshi’s concert at Surrey, Canada, next door to California border on October 10, 2010.
If you are a proud Indo-Canadian or just happen to be in Canada, please show your support by coming to one or all of the shows.
