LANDING ON THE MOON 54 YEARS LATER!

I wrote this poem when Armstrong’s maiden flight landed on the moon in 1969. As the world was celebrating mankind’s first ever touch up there, the Earth then sent a message to her “planetary sister” Moon to be watchful of the visitor. Now 54 years later the drama is unfolding as USA, Russia, and India are racing not only to visit but with the intention to colonize.
